In Amsterdam we're lucky enough to have great places to eat roti or to get roti to takeaway, but it's also quite easy to make it yourself!
The ingredients for roti with chicken:
- 3 roti sheets;
- 400 gram chicken thigh filets; in pieces
- 300 gram potatoes; peeled
- 400 gram grean beans; cleaned and cut in half
- 30 gram garam masala;
- 1 onion; chopped
- 4 cloves garlic; chopped
- 500 milliliter chicken stock;
- 3 eggs; boiled and peeled
- 1 Madame Jeanette; Whole and uncut
- olive oil;
- pepper;
- salt;
How to make roti with chicken?
- Add the olive oil to the pan.
- Add the chicken thigh filet and fry on medium temperature until colored.
- Add the onion and the garlic
- Lightly fry the onion and the garlic in the pan until translucent.
- Add the potato and the garam masala and fry shortly while stirring.
- Add the chicken stock and the Madame Jeanette
- Boil for 25 minutes.
- Add the green bean
- Boil for 10 minutes.
- Remove the Madame Jeanette.
- Flavor with the pepper and the salt
- Prepare the roti sheet according to the insctructions on the packaging.
- Grab a new pan.
- Add the olive oil to the pan.
- Add the egg and fry on medium temperature until colored.
- Serve with roti sheets and eggs.
- Your dish is ready, enjoy!
